*jIj, in the sense of "cooperate", is here assumed to be a mistake. This meaning occurs only in TKD K-E, "cooperate" is translated yeq in TKD E-K, and all occurrences of jIj in later canon are translated as "be cooperative". There is even an example in KGT p.159 explicitly showing the difference between jIj and yeq: reH yeq ("always cooperate"), and reH jIj ("always be cooperative").
